Non-Profit Finance Internship

Corporate Accountability stops transnational corporations from devastating democracy, trampling human rights, and destroying our planet. We are building a world rooted in justice where corporations answer to people, not the other way around -- a world where every person has access to clean water, healthy food, a safe place to live, and the opportunity to reach their full human potential.

As a Corporate Accountability intern, you will be a part of making change with a powerhouse, member-supported organization, protecting human rights, public health, and the environment from corporate abuse around the world. For 40 years, we have successfully challenged corporations like Nestlé, Exxon, and McDonald’s, securing lifesaving victories in the face of tremendous power, money, and influence.

We are deeply committed to prioritizing the leadership of those who bear the brunt of corporate abuse: women, people of color, low-income people, people in the Global South, and LGBTQ folks around the world. As such, these people are strongly encouraged to apply for our internships program.

This is a skills-building internship in which interns will take on significant projects to advance Corporate Accountability’s mission, including the Think Outside the Bottle and Public Water Works! Campaigns to challenge corporate control of water, the Value [the] Meal campaign to challenge corporate abuse of our food , the campaign to Challenge Big Tobacco, and the project to Kick Big Polluters out of Climate Policy. The projects will be coupled with training sessions on action planning, campaigning, public speaking, recruitment, and fundraising. The Non-Profit Finance and Accounting Intern will assist in performing accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial reporting, and will help prepare for the annual audit.  This is an excellent opportunity to get hands-on experience in a non-profit Finance department of a mission-driven organization.
